RUSTY SPIKES
Where the BULL meets the tracks at least once a week!
We are a round robin group that was started by Russ and Bill in 1990. We're 6 members and 4 layouts strong. Although we've had as many as 16 members and 6 layouts throughout the years.
Our main layout is Russ's DT&I/GTW which is an operations orientated double decked layout. The DT&I is the upper deck with the GTW on the lower deck coming soon! Basically a freelanced layout modeling mostly in Michigan. The era is 1972. The railroads wrap around Russ's Chippewa Raceway, a 4 lane computer timed HO slot car layout.
Pat is modeling the LS&I RR in the fall of the late 50's/early 60's.
Gene's RI/GN layout is first generation diesel with both passenger and freights operating.
Al is running the PRR with mainly steam and mostly passenger operations.
Of course we also have Russ's 86 Buick T-Type and hopefully some RC boat racing from Bill!
